Synopsis:

This is the second public health profile for the Tower Hamlets Primary Care Trust area, updating one produced in 1999. It provides a general overview of health and health care strategy. However its main focus is to provide information for Tower Hamlets that relates to the determinants of health and ill health such as poverty, unemployment, housing, health care usage and other demographics. It concentrates on areas that relate to national and local priorities.
