North Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust – Adolescent Survey Lifestyle

Synopsis:
This survey was commissioned in order to produce baseline information
on young people’s health related behaviours. A number of local public
sector organisations commissioned the survey which targeted 11-14 year
olds in mainstream schools throughout the region; only 2 schools did not
participate. Questionnaires were completed by students during school
time and were given 45 minutes to complete it. The overall response rate
was 92% with a total of 3290 pupils participating. Subjects reported on
include 5 A DAY, smoking, alcohol, drug awareness and illicit drug use,
sexual health, emotional well being and leisure.
