North East Lincolnshire Council – Adolescent Survey Lifestyle Report

Synopsis:
This survey was commissioned in order to produce baseline information
on young people’s health related behaviours. The survey targeted 11-14
year olds in mainstream schools throughout the region. Questionnaires
were completed by students during school. The overall response rate was
91% with a total of 3390 pupils participating – main reason for
non-participation was absence from school. Subjects reported on include
5-a-day, smoking, alcohol, drug awareness and illicit drug use, sexual
health, emotional well being and safety.
