Kent Survey of Health and Lifestyle 2005
Synopsis:
The 2005 Survey was undertaken by the Centre for Health Services
Studies at the University of Kent on behalf of Kent County Council.
Whilst including a range of question on health and lifestyle, the survey
focused particularly on physical activity in order to provide a baseline
for KCC to monitor progress towards PSA targets. The questionnaire was
completed by 5800 people, aged 16 and above, sampled from GP registers
in Kent. The survey was sent out by post to one in fifty adults and,
after three reminder letters, achieved a 27% response rate.
