Grampian Youth Lifestyle Survey 2001
- 10% sample of school pupils, data collection
in schools.
- 2,515 completed questionnaires (76% response
rate).
West Midlands Asian Lifestyle Survey 2001
- 1995 interview survey of 1,350 residents
- In 2000, 993 of these residents were still
resident in the area; of these 703 were
interviewed in 2000
The Health and Lifestyle People living in Portsmouth
and South East Hampshire 1999
- Random sample of 7,034 people ages 16 and
over, with names selected randomly from
centralised GP records.
- 65% response rate achieved.
Health and Lifestyle survey in County Durham and
Darlington 2003
- A sample of 30,000, obtained by randomly
selecting 6.05% of the population aged 16 and
over.
- Sample sent letters requesting consent to
participate.
- Questionnaires sent to 11,166 who had given
consent
- 8,630 questionnaires returned - 29% or
original 30,000 sample, 76% of those sent
questionnaires
Tayside Adult Health and Lifestyle Survey 2000
- Random sample of 2% of the adult population
aged 16-74 stratified by age, sex and geographic
location
- Sample drawn from the Community Health
Index, which is a register of everyone living in
Tayside who is registered with a General
Practitioner.
- Total sample of 5,855 people. Response
rate of 61%.
